Bindings & Repairs

At the Index Bindery, we have the perfect combination - an active workshop, manned by highly skilled binders who can guide you through the repair process and relevant costs, alongside a retail space full of the paraphernalia of bookbinding and our range of handmade stationery.

All our repairs are costed according to the time it will take us to carry out the work. In most cases, this will require at least two hours, including preparation, the mending process, and drying time. Most repairs start at £80.

REBINDS & REPAIRS

This is also an area in which we specialise, alongside our full binding services.

Many people have a much thumbed, favourite book, that starts to fall apart over time.

This is where we can come to the rescue. We can restore your treasured volume back to its former glory, most importantly, into a state that allows you to use it again.

If you would like us to quote for repairs or a full re-bind, please ring (+44) 07599036615 or visit us at The Index Bindery, 6 Market Street, Ludlow. You can also email us at theindexbindery@gmail.com with images of the book so that we can offer you a sensible, cost-effective solution.
